That is the unique Principal with principles, Prof. Dr. Mankulam Krishnan Namboothiri, gifted son of the splendid father, Sri. Mankulam Vishnu Namboothiri, the Kathakali artist of fame. Space is not enough to narrate the awards and no words on the working areas, being immense, of this artist of percussion with Chenda, a proficient disciple of Sri. Varanasi Madhavan Namboothiri and Sri. Kalamandalam Kesavan. Dr. Mankulam Krishnan Namboothiri, former principal of S.D College, Alappuzha, with doctorate in Biochemistry under Dr. P.A Kurup of Kerala University was born on 20th of January 1951.
